Postage paid: 1¢ US Domestic Postcard rate.
Cancellation Mark: Cockrill Type A16 without time stamp.
From 1928 selected ships were issued with a duplex cancellation bearing the ship's name in the date stamp and a 9-bar killer.

PPC of new SS Washington addressed to Cincinnati written and mailed on board in August 1934. Postage paid: 1¢ US domestic post card rate (effective 1st July 1928 to 1st January 1952). Cockrill Type A16 cancel without time stamp.
