Royal Naval Mails handstamp: Tabeart type N3, reported in use at Liverpool during 1972.
Reference: Robertson Revisited, Colin Tabeart.
Tabeart notes that the cancel was proofed in 1968 and that similar markings are known for a number of locations around the British coasts.
